Incubator Cycle 3 FAQs

FAQs

WHAT IS THE TWG INCUBATOR?

The Wall Group Incubator is a 6-month multidisciplinary program that pairs up-and-coming creatives from underrepresented backgrounds with TWG represented artists to cultivate the next generation of talent. Our goal is to provide educational programming and industry access through our executives, clients, and partners.

Upon pairing with their personal mentors for one-on-one coaching, mentees will be invited to join monthly networking sessions and workshops where they will meet with influential industry figures and learn valuable skills, ranging from finance and business management as a freelance artist to professional advice on mental health and wellness. Mentees will receive a kit tailored to their specialty, which will include products hand-selected by TWG Incubator leadership, including items that The Wall Group artists regard as their “secret weapons.”

To support the mentorship portion of the Incubator, The Wall Group has also created a virtual educational summit, WALLxCHANGE, that will be publicly available on TheWallGroup.com for artists across the globe. Programming will include talks with artists, editors, celebrities and industry executives on entrepreneurship, sustainability, and career advice on how to tackle the runway, the red carpet and everything in-between.

WHO ARE THE MENTORS?

For the TWG Incubator program beginning January 2023, mentors are: Naoko Scintu (Makeup), Stefan Bertin (Hairstylist), Way Perry (Stylist), Penny Mills (Set Design).

HOW WILL MENTEES BE SELECTED?

All mentees must apply online, where applications will be reviewed by The Wall Group and artist mentors. More info and applications can be found at https://www.thewallgroup.com/Incubator.

WHAT IF I'M NOT IN LONDON?

As part of the Incubator, The Wall Group created WALLxCHANGE, a virtual educational summit covering the fashion and beauty industry. WALLxCHANGE will host talks and panels with celebrities, artists, editors and executives on topics like entrepreneurship, sustainability, and provide career advice on how to tackle the runway, the red carpet and everything in-between.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE PROGRAM IS FINISHED?

Upon completion of the program, mentees will receive a TWG curated kit and complete an exit interview with the TWG board. While the formal relationship between mentor and mentee will have ended, it will be up to each individual pair to decide how they would like to move forward.

WILL I HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE REPRESENTED BY THE WALL GROUP?

Representation is not guaranteed upon completion of the TWG Incubator. The goal of the TWG Incubator program is to assist artists in reaching the next level of their career through education, mentorship, and access, but not every artist in the program will be ready for representation. Each artist will be evaluated individually and all conversations regarding representation should take place once the program is completed.
