Yusef is a New York-based hair stylist. His career began in the exclusive world of couture working for brands like Chanel, Jean Paul Gaultier, Christian Dior, Gucci, Christian Lacroix, John Galliano and Balmain. He has also created iconic looks for global campaigns with Coach, Fenty and Dior, as well as editorial covers for Vogue, Dazed, W, Allure, Rolling Stone, T Style, Essence, and i-D.

Yusef’s work has garnered an in-demand celebrity following including Naomi Campbell, Bella & Gigi Hadid, Lizzo, Jourdan Dunn, Joan Smalls, and Lily Aldridge. He also led creative direction for both Fenty x Puma and Savage x Fenty runway shows and is the creative force behind Rihanna's consistent beauty transformations since 2009.

Yusef is the creator of his own eponymous professional hair tool collection, The Y by Yusef, which helps clients create their own editorial-worthy looks at home.
