Raul Otero is a New York-based makeup artist who splits his time between Los Angeles, Miami, and Europe. Raised in Puerto Rico, Otero made his foray into fashion by assisting local talent before he moved back to NY at the age of 20. After being mentored by Yadim Carranza, Otero set off on his own as an independent artist working with photographers such as Sebastian Faena, Billy Kidd, Charlotte Wales, Nathaniel Goldberg, and Shariff Hamza, on work appearing in publications such as 10 Magazine, Dazed & Confused, Vogue, Número Homme, Russh, Schon! Magazine, T Magazine, and W Magazine. Otero’s clients include Naomi Campbell, Jasmine Sanders, Victoria's Secret, Stuart Weitzman, Public School, Kith x Versace, and Maybelline.
