Bernicia Boateng is a London-based makeup artist. Her expertise and artistry guide her red carpet and editorial approach with celebrity clientele including Michaela Cole, Jodie Turner-Smith, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Edward Enninful, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Cindy Bruna, Adesuwa Aighewi, and Temi Otedola. Boateng’s work has been featured in prestigious international titles such as Vogue, M Le Monde, New York Magazine, The New York Times, The Guardian, GQ, Highsnobiety, and Glamour while working with current and sought after photographers including Campbell Addy, Ruth Ossai, Malick Bodian, Ekua King, Christina Ebenezer, and Petros.  

 Having launched her own studio in 2018, Boateng also works as a CEO and makeup educator. She was recognized as one of London’s most powerful black fashion creatives in 2023 as well as being named on Forbes 30 under 30 Arts & Culture list in 2020.
